teamLab, Multi Jumping Universe (c) teamLab - Multi Jumping is a flexible surface that people can jump on, and sink or jump higher than usual. When you stand on Multi Jumping, the surface beneath your feet sinks, creating warps in space and time. This distortion attracts stardust from the universe and births new stars. If you jump on top of a star, it begins to move, and if you continue to jump on the star it will grow and you will be able to experience the entire life cycle of the star.
TOKYO -- teamLab Planets TOKYO DMM (teamLab Planets) in Toyosu, Tokyo, unveiled a major expansion on January 22, 2025.
With its area increasing by 1.5 times, teamLab Planets introduces an extensive new space dedicated to teamLab’s educational projects. The expansion features the Athletics Forest, a complex, multi-dimensional creative athletic space; Catching and Collecting Extinct Forest, where visitors can capture and study extinct animals; and Future Park, a collaborative space for co-creation. More than 20 new artworks will be exhibited.
Additionally, several new spaces were introduced to the museum, including the Orchid Glass House, where visitors can enjoy tea and drinks surrounded by orchids; the Living Art Store, where they can take home regrown orchids; and the Sketch Factory, where drawings created within the artwork space are transformed into original products to take home. The outdoor area featuring the Black Emptiness Table, where visitors can enjoy Vegan Ramen UZU Tokyo, will also undergo a major renovation.
