SEOUL -- Vestas, the global leader in sustainable energy solutions, has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KEPCO Plant Service & Engineering Co., Ltd. (KPS) and KMC Line Co., Ltd. (KMC). This strategic agreement aims to accelerate the development of a skilled workforce and high‑quality offshore wind operation and maintenance (O&M) capabilities in Korea, supporting the nation’s renewable energy transition and the growth of its offshore wind industry.
Under the MOU, Vestas, KPS, and KMC will collaborate on establishing a wind power training center and specialized O&M training programs targeted for offshore wind service technicians. The parties will also explore opportunities for collaboration in O&M activities in offshore wind projects in Korea.
