SANTA CLARA, CALIF.-- IPValue Management, Inc. today announced that its affiliate Lumitek Display Technology Limited (“Lumitek”) has acquired approximately 200 patents from Seiko Epson Corporation (“Epson”) directed to OLED technologies. Epson is a global technology leader with a long history of innovation in display related equipment such as watches, TVs and projectors, with pioneering work on OLED display panels and related manufacturing technologies.

“We are pleased to continue our successful licensing of Epson’s patents in the display space,” said Paul Ahern, Director of Longitude Licensing Ltd. (“Longitude”), which is licensing the Lumitek portfolio. “These patents are important to existing TV, smartphone and automotive OLED display systems. Through this transaction, Epson has enabled us to share this critical portion of their portfolio with our licensees.”
